Pepper Spray: Three Strikes and You're Out!

By Larry Zolna

Here is a story how Pepper Spray saved a woman from a very bad time. Nora was getting ready to patch a hole in her son's jeans. "Darn", she said, "I'm out of blue thread. I'll have to go to the store for some."

While Nora was driving to the store she was listening to a baseball game on the radio. She liked baseball. Just as she stopped at a red light, across the street was Casey (a rotten thief) who thought this was his chance to get some easy money.

He ran up to the stopped car and wiped a dirty rag on her windshield as if to wash it. Anyone who lives in a big city (or not so big a city) has probably seen this act at one time or another. This, however, was a new experience for Nora. After the guy just smeared her windshield she rolled her window down to tell him to stop.

That was strike one for Casey!

As soon as the window was rolled down Nora had Casey's hand groping at her and telling her to give him her money or else.

That was strike two for Casey!

Although scared, Nora still kept her wits about her. She told her attacker "OK, I'll give you my money."

With her right hand she opened her purse and right on top where it should be was her canister of Pepper Spray. With one quick movement she sprayed the contents directly into Casey's face and eyes.

With a loud scream Casey immediately let go of Nora and backed away with his hands to his face.

That was strike three for Casey -- you're out!

Casey had gotten the surprise of his life. It had all seemed so easy -- he'd done the windshield scam millions of times before. But by now Nora had already stepped on the gas and was long gone.

Instead of getting Nora's wallet, Casey got about 30 minutes of intense pain from the Pepper Spray.

Nora was lucky that day. She kept calm and used her head. The Pepper Spray canister was kept in an easy-to-get place in her purse.

Nora survived the ordeal with just a smeared windshield while Casey -- well, Casey Struck Out!

Get an edge over an attacker!

You should always have your Pepper Spray readily available in your purse or pocket. You should also think about getting a detachable Pepper Spray on a Key Chain which would always be accessible while in your car or whenever you had your keys in your hand!

Don't forget, Pepper Spray makes a great gift for family and friends and even just for yourself. And, some Pepper Spray comes disguised in a lipstick tube -- the bad guy will never see it coming. Please visit our website mentioned above to get more information about Lipstick Pepper Spray.
