A2D has introduced its first folder to their already stellar lineup of fixed blades and its called the Mark I. A hefty build with a very cool design from Doug Esposito. The handle is the new and very hot Fat Carbon material that a lot of makers are using. It looks very much like Carboquartz with a little design variation in the patterns. Operation on this is ultra smooth and Doug knocked his first folding knife out of the park. Fit and finish is superb and as with his fixed blades, every knife is built to be used and abused. Attention 2 Detail is a veteran owned and operated company out of Virginia. Doug Esposito is doing some really great things with A2D and this year is going to be one to watch for this small company about to do some really big things.
