The Microtech Currahee fixed blade knife is back! It was designed many years ago for the U.S. Special Forces Boat Team 20. After some initial hard use intense field tests, they decided it was time to bring it to the masses. Currahee is a Cherokee name, which means "stands alone" and is also the name of the last mountain in the Blue Ridge range. It was there that the US Army established Camp Toccoa during WWII and where the first Parachute Infantry was trained.
Microtech's Currahee knife is built rock solid like a tank. It has a full-tang steel S/E blade with a Tan Cerakote finish. The Tan composite polymer handle is outfitted with a lanyard and knocker bead.
Includes heavy duty Kydex sheath with MOLLE locks.
