To make the kind of knives that last a lifetime on top of the innovations that Benchmade is known for, their continual collaboration with skilled artisans, designers, and craftsmen is essential to the cause.
One such fruitful collaboration has been with Bill McHenry and Jason Williams, renowned custom knifemakers with watchmaking roots, who consider their work “art with an edge on it.” McHenry and Williams are also responsible for creating Benchmade’s game-changing AXIS lock technology on the very first 710 back in 1999.
Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of AXIS lock technology, the new 710FE-24 has the same large frame and ample cutting power as the original — but elevated. Featuring a stylish, drop-point, recurve blade made of mighty CPM S9OV steel with an FDE PVD finish, the 710FE-24 has a stunningly lightweight 6061-T6 Aluminum handle with gray anodized finish, milled FDE PVD standoffs, pocket clip and pivot ring, and satin thumb stud and AXIS lock.
An anniversary variant, inspired by its original designers, McHenry and Williams.

Great knife for certain...
This Seven Ten model is a great knife. Built well and none of the BM QC issues that have plagued the company in more recent years. It’s solid and well built. With that being said, it’s a 4” recurve blade which might be just a bit too much for some people. Can definitely use as an EDC knife or for more precise reasons. A slightly smaller version might be a better option for Benchmade if BM comes out with one like they did years ago for those not looking for a full on tactical 4” blade. It does have some heft to it as well. To me a good thing as in not into ultra light knives. This doesn’t didsapoint. All in all this is a great knife for MY purposes and I’m really happy with it so far. Time will tell if the size and heft makes a difference. Eknives of course got it into the mail for me I think the day I ordered it. Unfortunately the USPS mis-routed it and it took a bit to get to me. Not Eknives fault at all. They have amazing customer service and I truly like giving them my business. I’m happy with this Seven Ten!
