This just might be the best edc knife in...

The mini adamas is the most well rounded knife in production, in my opinion. It has the perfect blade length to handle any edc task. The knife build is robust enough for anyone that demands their knife be more than just pocket jewelry. Speaking of pocket jewelry, the carbon fiber version of the mini adamas checks that box too. I started collecting pocket knives 30+ years ago. Like most, my first "high end" knife was a benchmade. Since then, I've had (or have) a lot of fancy, expensive (some very expensive) knives. No matter what new knife I get, a benchmade seems to always find it's way back into my pocket. I agree with most of the knife community that benchmade has been getting greedy with their prices, especially for the issues that they let ship out of their shop. The marbled CF mini adamas in magnacut is the first benchmade that I feel is priced competitively and worth the money. Bottom line...if I could only have 1 knife for the rest of my life, this one would be it. I don't see anything in the foreseeable future that will kick this one out of my pocket! If you're on the fence don't be, buy one and see for yourself!

I've seen some complaints on ease of open/close as well as lock stick. I can tell you this goes away with use. Based on the feel it would appear this is related to the coating on the liner. Not sure if it's cerakote or something else but the initial grittiness of the lock stick and the lock stick itself goes away as you use it more. I would not return it nor tune it until you've spent some time using it. Gorgeous knife and I can't say enough about the customer service.

I received this knife last week. I couldn’t be happier and more impressed. It looks and feels like a Gold Class knife without the $700 price. EKnives was fantastic with the whole process from ordering to delivery. They even wrote me a note thanking me. Can’t beat personalized service like that.

    Bad...

EK knives knocked shipping and customer service out of the park as usuall. Knife came with bad lock stick and horrible blade play. After inspecting the knife I saw why it had so much blade play. The pivot was so loose I'm suprised it didn't fall out. After adjusting the pivot, oil, and graphite powder on the tang knife was smooth and drop shut. I work on my knives, but for $338 I shouldn't have to do that. It's no excuse what so ever that a knife should leave out of the factory like that especially with the sky high prices that Benchmade have. I highly recommend the knife. Feels really good in the hand and has a nice weight to it. It's not bugout light, but it's not overly heavy either. My scale says 4.4oz.

    Disappointed

Really that's sad the global is really nice, but up and down blade play on a knife label for work use and at that price range is disappointing and make me feel that's not safe to use
