If you're going to get a Chaves Redencion this is...

Posted by Mark L on Dec 20th 2023

I have purchased 3 of these. The first one I got carbon fiber and while the blade was amazing, the carbon fiber was super slick. So I ordered a second one in Micarta and well, it wasn't any different. This I ordered a third one with the G10. It's not an aggressive texture by any stretch, but it sure isn't slippery like the carbon fiber or micarta. I dig the kickstop flipper, the blade edge is perfect. It's a great design, but if you're considering one, I recommend going the G10 route if you plan to actually use it for cutting stuff. Oh, and by the way - EKnives kicks butt on shipping and I'll be back for more :)
