Great utility...
Love this utility knife. Strong Stilish and well made. The only one downside, it’s little heavy. But i guess that’s the price you pay for durability. Overall amazing. It take time to learn how to replace the blade.

the pocket clip has excellent retention. blade changes are easy and don't require tools. I like to carry fancy knives, and I carry this also to take the brunt of my abuse.

Not what I...
I was not familiar with Chavez knives but was ordering some Christmas gifts for my brother and nephew and saw these very interesting utility/box cutter knives I saw the price point of $60 which for a box cutter is probably on the high end but I also saw the $250 price one which seems to be a Assisted opening. I placed the order and thought I will give this a try. The item arrived and the look of it is amazing. It is very sleek very stylish. The overall look is amazing. The belt clip is unique. The use of the item in the feeling in hand is not what you would expect for that price point. It feels very lightweight. it feels not very solid the push down slide Opening is very herky-jerky. I understand the concept of it locking at three different links, but it just never feels correct and the slide back lock so sometimes when you think you’ve slid it all the way back the blade tends to still be out which I think the mechanics of it would be Three locks forward zero locks back, but all in all I was hoping the quality of this would be amazing and it would intrigue me enough to purchase other knives by this maker, but again understanding that this is a $60 the cheapest knife this maker has I still would not be comfortable investingin his higher end knives or utility knives. I am sure there are other reviews. This is just my personal opinion and it is very possible what I had in my mind would not have been met regardless of quality but again I just think for the dollar amount paid for this. It could’ve been something more substantial in fee use and so forth design wise, one of the best I have ever seen design
