Ergonomics
I’m currently living in Germany, I’m originally from California and I know how hard it is to deal with laws and restrictions specially here in Germany and folding knives, this Chaves knives slip joint makes it perfect to carry around Germany in certain areas of course, due to the fact that is not a one hand open I would like a little bigger blade but this one is perfect. ??

Underwhelmed and...
Being a huge fan of all of the Chaves frame locks I figured this would be an overbuilt tough slipjoint to take on a trip to Europe. This however is not the case. I was so underwhelmed after opening the box and seeing this little thing staing back at me. Now I should have done more research as the size is presented very carefully on EKnives, and they have been great! I did assume it would be chunkier, larger, more substantial for the money. I think this feels like a $150 dollar knife, not $275. It has a nice little blade, cool whistling walk and talk with a 4/10 pull, spring and blade meet up nicely it just isn't a practical knife to carry being so small! It is a 5th pocket sized knife. I wish I had went with a Jack Wolf, Finch, or GEC. If this is your first slip joint, I apologize and promise there are some great ones so don't give up! Ekives agreed to take it back but I have elected to keep it as a collector and I am still a huge fan of Chaves Knives and likely will always be. They missed the mark here with this one though IMO.
