The Large Inkosi (Zulu word for 'chief') by Chris Reeve Knives is the brainchild of the relentless pursuit of evolution by CRK. With decades of constant innovation, the Inkosi raises the bar in the world of integral lock folders. Chris Reeve Knives has used radius cut Natural Canvas to inlay the blasted titanium handle and give it some swagger. The blade features CRK's Insingo blade which combines the elements of a Wharncliffe and Sheepsfoot style blade with a tumbled stonewash finish.

Worth it!
This is my fourth CRK, but my first Inkosi. After seeing shop videos on YouTube on how these knives are made, I wasn’t surprised at all to find that the fit and finish of this knife were perfection. And although the out-of-the-box action was better on the Sebenza 31s I have, it only took a day or two for the Inkosi to break in nicely, as well; the action is now fantastic without even needing to adjust the pivot. This was the first knife I’ve bought from eKnives and it definitely won’t be the last. They had the exact configuration I was looking for in the Large Inkosi (insingo/magnacut/natural micarta inlays) Shipping was lightening fast. This is a knife I’ll pass down to my son when he’s ready. And I’ll sure it’ll hold up until he’s ready to pass it down to his kid, when that day comes. It’s definitely worth the price I paid for it.

Best Chris Reeve Knife...
Okay well I laughed when I saw the band aid in the box. A few days later I was not laughing darn thing bit me good! I have owned many Chris Reeve Knives in many models and different steel over the years. This one however is the best it is lighter than my S45VN model in the same blade shape etc... it is also thinner behind the edge and the grinds are superb. I was worried when the son took over but I think he is more adventurous than his father and is certainly moving the product line in the right direction in terms of steel and CQI. As for Magnacut it does indeed hold an edge longer and that is after abusing it on packing straps, cutting wire and thick cardboard. Love this steel much better than S45VN and S35VN.
