Stainless chassis!! Badass!!
Highly recommend I've owned several OTF'S and all randomly failed except the Deadlock and the Sandshark I'm currently over a 1000 actuations and it's been flawless!!! I try to keep my collection all American When I can. Loved the Super Fast shipping EKnives provides.

Not like the original, but pretty...
Don't get me wrong, the finish and action of this knife are excellent. I haven't tried to punch it through an oil-drum, but maybe I could. I'm lucky enough to have an original (Gen 1) DKW Sandshark and this is close but not the same. The action isn't quite as silky. It's a heavy knife and not as well balanced as the original. If I had to choose between this knife and the original Sandshark, obviously I'd choose the original. If I had to choose between the original Sandshark and the Dirac Delta, I'd choose the original Sandshark. But, if I had to choose between the Gen 2 Sandshark and the Dirac Delta, the Dirac fits the hand better, slimmer profile, smoother action. It's also about $60 cheaper. That makes the Dirac Delta a better choice in this case. The Piranha Excalibur, which is nowhere near as sturdy internally, has nicer outer finish than the Gen 2 Sandshark. I'm not disappointed, but I was hoping for better.
