My first OTF and the recon 035 is a must have. My edc for years to come! I handled a buddy’s Ultratech, and I wasn’t nearly as impressed as how I am with my GT. Very smooth, strong firing and it is SHARP! Will be purchasing the 040 in the future for sure. For the price, it’s an insane deal. Quality is there!

So I started fresh in the OTF game with the Microtech ultratech. Really liked it but it left a little to be desired. I heard a lot of good things about the guardian tactical recon 035 so I figured I would get my toes a little more wet. I took off my socks and dipped my toes only to have a major knifegasm. This thing is spectacular. Super smooth compared to the ultratech. The fire switch rolls on bearings so it is way smoother and also does not have the thumb grinding high spots as the ultratech fire switch. The fit and finish is very nice and now I think I am ready to just dive in. I want something else just don't know what yet. Anyway the recon 035 is definitely a must-have. Dip your toes before it's too late
