Love this knife so much. Been carrying it for 3 weeks now and I love firing it. High quality and super fun.

Like most people who buy a tool like this, it was mostly to see what a single action OTF is all about. And I can honestly say my expectations were exceeded. Being also my first Heretic product, I am thoroughly satisfied with this solid piece of American craftsmanship. The Hydra shoots out with authority at the light press of the ignition button. Despite this and the concerns that others have, after carrying it for around 2 weeks now daily I am confident not only in its quality and reliability, but also in the safety of it all. I have no worries about it accidentally shooting out. And although half the reason to have something like this is the gimmick of it all, I can confidently say that it’s also a very legitimate tool. It might not be something for your strict EDC crowd, but it’s certainly more than a collectors piece. And to top it off, like always, EKnives customer service and delivery is superb quality. A solid company with a wide variety of products to meet any needs or wants of any kind of customer; from pure collectors and strict EDC types to survivalists and the working man. I can honestly recommend them and any of their products to anyone looking for a high quality blade. WILL buy from again.

I purchased the knife to see what a single action knife would be like. I was very impressed by the styling and how fast and hard it hit coming out. I’m not sure yet if I would carry it daily as I don’t know if it would accidentally deploy. That would be a bad thing. I did deploy it against a water bottle to see if it would penetrate and it went clear through the bottle. Very very sharp. Customer service was great. Any questions I had were addressed very quickly. I will definitely buy again from EKnives. Great company selly very quality knives.
