The best thing I've seen in innovation for knifes, it would be nice if it was implemented on all metal to metal connections in this knife. This knife is probably the smoothest otf i own. I have a microtech combat trodden hellhound I have the shoot out from bench made Both these knife’s spring have broken To be honest heretic knifes are on another level compared to both these other otf’s. If i remember correctly, microtech and heretic are father and son family business. Microtech if the fathers Heretic is his sons business So in my eyes he has surpassed his dad in quality by far and also blade steel is way better than microtech also. My microtech never holds an edge for longer than a month, that was from factory sharp outta the box. Ive already use this heretic more then my microtech and the edge is still crazy sharp. THIS KNIFE IS A BIG WIN. the price is high for sure, but now that i have used it…… Well worth the price compared to the shootout and microtech for sure! Microtech was $700 ( waste of money ) Shootout was $270 super light and easy switch. Heretic was $300 it blows both these outta the water in all categories
