Two tone Black Blade Amphibian G10...

Posted by Big Daddy on May 10th 2024

Very classy looking knife, blade aside from all black dlc with CF Sig model is the best looking one of the bunch. The blade is quite large and sharp and will be a model I think I will send in to the pros at Microtech for sharpening as the very attractive blade curvy shape is not a straight forward resharpen for home, but a cakewalk for the maker! I should have held out for either the aluminum scales which are just about the same price historically as fluted G10 or gone cash crazy for the CF. The G10 is a bit rough where your fingers ride and apply the most skin pressure required of task at hand. The CF is hit and miss like on my MSI, and their aluminum is tried and true throughout their line which you cannot go wrong with. Buyers remorse, NO. Very happy with everything as a whole and will go nicely with my other black bladed beauties in the ram lok line! Once I find an aluminum or CF amphibian, I will continue to use this as a user and knock down rough areas chamfering the spots that can take the rounding without affecting lines of handle to frame aspect.
