Review of my Microtech Combat Troodon GenIII OTF...
The turn around time for shipping from EKnives was good. I liked the look, size, feel in my hand and the automatic function of the knife. It opens and closes with authority. One aspect of the Microtech Combat Troodon GenIII that I discovered to my surprise/disappointment was when I oiled the blade I discovered there was "play" in the blade. The blade slightly moved back and forth to the touch. Am I mistaken to expect that a $450.00 knife shouldn't have any play in the blade? Is that an unreal expectation? If I could return the knife, I would. I would try to buy and OTF Auto knife that has no play in the blade at that price. I will not buy another Microtech knife. I'm not trying to be difficult. I'm just expressing my honest experience with the purchase of this knife.

Awesome knife. The previous version was my daily carry. This one has now replaced it. It's smoother,, fits my hand well, and I've always liked carrying a larger knife. With VA making it legal to carry a switchblade, I've had one in my pocket ever since. This knife is a good one. No complaints and highly recommend the knife as well as EKnives.
