    Gen 111 Combat...

Posted by michael casey on Nov 28th 2024

The improvements made on the new Microtech Combat Troodon make it a better Knife in almost everyway in comparison to the old style. The new firing mechanism is so much smoother and easier to activate. My older model Ultratech was very stiff and difficult to fire. Even though I loved the looks and the quality, it just got stored because of the difficulty activating it. Shrinking the glass breaker improved the overall look while maintaining total functionality. Replacing the proprietary screws with torque screws will make it easier to disassemble and way less of a chance of stripping them. Pricey auto but well worth it. Microtech is definitely the leader of the pack when it comes to OTF automatic knife manufacturing. Made in the good ole USA to boot. EKnives were very easy to work with. Looking forward to my next acquisition.
