The Microtech Combat Troodon OTF (out the front) is named after the Troodon dinosaur and is the larger version of the Troodon OTF knife which debuted in 2006. The Combat Troodon is one of MT's largest OTF double action production knives available with an overall length of 9.5 inches. The Combat Troodon features a 3.8" stainless steel double edge dagger style blade with stonewash finish. The 5.75" handle is black anodized aluminum and features a bead blast finish hardware, glass breaker and pocket clip. Yes this is a larger OTF knife but it feels great in the hand thanks to the jimping in the handle.

This is a sweet sharp knife. High quality finish. Fires smooth and fast. Mostly purchased as a john wick collectable otherwise I would have chosen a more utilitarian blade style.

Combat Troodon d/e...
My first Combat Troodon and definitely not my last! Super sturdy knife. I purchased the stonewashed finish, black handle, couldn’t be happier! Large knife, still easy to carry, probably won’t be carrying anything else now that I was Inteoduced to the Troodon. Will be purchasing more to add to my collection, or what seems to now be an obsession. Thanks to EKnives! Great customer service, fast shipping, candy, what more could you ask for? I know EKknives is my go to knife company, hands down the best!

The knife is excellent but …
This is a short review of the knife but mostly the company. First off the shipping was lightning quick. My order arrived next day somehow. It was delivered before Amazon even showed up. This is the first knife I’ve purchased here. I appreciate the band aids in the shipment. If you’re shipping an ultra sharp knife to someone always include at least one. Jokes on you though, you actually thought I could get the box open without cutting myself ?. Maybe tape the bandaids to the outside of the box for people replacing inferior knives. Any chance of some stickers ? I mean let’s be honest here. That’s what we all do it for right ? Great company to deal with. The blade is as fidgety as I imagined.

Working with Eknives has to be about the best experience you could ask for! They always send a little slice of goodness in the packages too! Mine was sour patch kids! I don’t know how they knew but they are my favorite!! Now, the knife! Wow what an amazing piece of art!! I really like to use my stuff!
