Another Really Nice OTF From...
The Hera II is a great addition to the Mircotech lineup. I have several knives with the new drive system. They all deploy very smoothly, and this one is no exception. The tan handle is not too bright or flashy. Just right for my taste since I didn't want another black OTF. The new green and natural aluminum are very nice too. I have those on other OTFs. This is an OTF, so you will have to do a light oiling every now and then. I use the spray Rem oil, like they recommend, and blow out the excess with compressed air. This keeps the knives working perfectly. The apocalyptic blade finish is very nice, and the service at EKnives is great as well—same day shipping and fast response to inquiries via phone or text. Five stars!
