This knife is really a work of art. I am impressed with the fit and function as well as the finish. Its very sharp, probably rivals anything in my collection. When you open this knife, you can really feel how smooth it is and how close the tolerances are kept. The thumb latch is easy to actuate. I cannot open it with just my thumb though, apparently youre supposed to use the cutout in the blade to engage your thumb with, but I cannot do it unless I hold the knife in a position where I may drop it. I think a thumb stud would be better, but Ill just open it with two hands or let gravity start it. The weight of this knife is substantial, but I dont notice it in my pocket.
