MSI...
I have ALOT (too many) high end knives. Mostly autos. Have wanted one of these for awhile. Finally grabbed one. LOVE it. Light, smooth, rock solid, and M390. Great design. EKnives is always spot on. Lightning fast shipments, no tax, great folks.

Go-To...
This is my second MSI...so two components to review: the MSI itself and this particular version. The MSI itself: A larger sized EDC, but personal preference especially for work is a larger size (PM2 was heavily in the rotation along with a Benchmade Auto Stryker). The polymer scales aren't amazing, but I am not whittling a masterpiece with this bad boy so they are perfectly fine for a few minutes of work. Plus, two different craftsmen (probably more) have already begun releasing aftermarket scales, so ergo polymer scale complaint resolved. Also, don't complain that you are already paying 175 for a knife and do not want to pay for aftermarket scales...in that case 175 dollar knives are not for you. Microtech could definitely charge more than 175 for these and that would suck because the blade...next point...is phenomenal. It has incredible out of the box sharpness (thank you eKnives for the complimentary band-aid) and after two months of use my first version has held an edge. The blade just wants to be put to work and feels extremely robust in the hand when you are or are not putting it to good use. I say that because it has an unexpectedly enjoyable fidget factor, so yes, its not always being used responsibly. I know knives aren't toys, but that is why we have band-aids (again, thank you eKnives). This blackened version of the MSI is even sweeter than my satin version, the coating is beautiful and the lines are flawless. I feel bad for all my modified PM2s because they are seeing less and less time in the pocket due to the magnificence of the MSI. I highly recommend the MSI and the polymer version is a fantastic dollar for dollar use of your money.
