This was the sharpest factory edge I’ve ever...
This was the sharpest factory edge I’ve ever experienced. I’m very happy with this knife. It opens fast and easy closes fast . After all day use the knife took an edge quickly . E knives has been a pleasure to do business with.

Microtech MSI Apocalyptic...
This is a great knife for the price. It is extremely well built and the Ram lock works very well with good traction to deploy or retract. Fit and finish are excellent. The blade material is tough and slick out of the box. The Handle is plastic and had a bit different sound when rubbing across it, but don't be fooled it is not cheap and the handles have no flex. All other materials are top notch. A great knife for a great price and Eknives service was excellent and fast shipping. I couldn't be happier!

Sooo good! Just not great…yet.
It is awesome to see Microtech coming out with some folders in this class of knife. The M390mk came razor sharp out of the box and while it is an eye catching blade it doesn’t sacrifice function for style. Ergonomically it is not the best. I have large to extra large hands and while it fits my hand in various positions quite well, the edges of the handle are sharp and not comfortable in hand. I can only speak for the injection molded handles at this time and I will be looking to swap out the scales when they become available. That said this is a really nice introduction from Microtech into a market that has been constantly evolving over the last several years. Still going with a 5 star review simply because the price is spot on. You will not feel like you wasted your money on this one. Enjoy!

No brainier at this...
For USA made and being a new design and lock for microtech it comes in at an excellent price. The blade is well executed. The secondary bevel is consistent and sticky sharp it was also dead nuts centerd. The deployment slot is not that great, it's got very chamfered edges so it's hard to get finger meat in it and where you need to put finger to deploy it's very narrow. The frn is the nicest frn I've ever handled, it's got good texture and 0 flex. It almost feels like g10 but has the hollow scratchy sound that frn does. The scale edges could be knocked down a little better. The lock mechanism is ok, slightly gritty stiff spring. The milling on the lock faces is awesome and grippy as hell. The action is the biggest issue I have. The bearing don't feel very smooth out of the box I have probably 500 deployments on it and still not great. Gonna swap em out for thick washers I think that suits this knife better as you can't spydie flick it easily anyways. More of a thumb roller the blade is very tip heavy hard to get it moving. Overall it's a cool design and fairly well executed with excellent quality. for the price it's a no brainier. The g10 model I don't think I would spend the extra $100 on I'd buy the frn and get aftermarket scales when available.

Sweet hard use...
This knife hits all the marks, beautiful finish (apocalyptic) which is just a heavy stone wash. Blade steel is Böhler M390 which is a great steel for sharp edge retention. It’s a big knife but handles very well. Knife came razor hair popping sharp out of the box. This is a very fair price for this blade. I know people are worried about the handles being plastic/frn/polymer whatever you want to call it but there is no flex at all and saving $100 over the other scale material is good value. Buy one you’ll love it!

Microtech...
I tend to favor knives with 3-3.5 inch blades, but the aesthetics of this knife called out to me. To me, this is a big knife, but I love it. Styling, craftsmanship, material, blade centering, etc are all perfect. It's a sturdy and beefy knife that feels great in the hand. For the price it's a great deal. This is also the first knife I have purchased from E Knives and I was very satisfied with the entire purchasing process and will definitely buy from them again.
