Great improvement by Microtech . Easy to deploy and smooth action with zero blade play makes this knife a good buy. I wish Microtech will make all their OTF into ZBP. This will definitely increase their sales volume.?

Was hoping after Microtech started promoting their new line of knives, especially the “Zero Blade Play” line of knives, that maybe they turned a new leaf and started to improve on their quality control and attention to detail but I was wrong. The new firing mechanism is nice but my blade came with an uneven grind on the top of the blade and already has blade play offer a couple weeks of cutting tape so keep that in mind when you’re about to shell out $400 for their “upgraded knife”

It's an almost perfect knife, only main issue is they don't print the serial number and creation date on this model. That may be an upside for others if you don't like text clutter on your knife.

Incredible job by Microtech. This knife locks up rock solid! The new Gen 3 action is smooth as silk too. This is a great addition to an already reputable company, and as always I’m a loyal EK customer when purchasing a new knife.
