New Microtech Ultratech features a 5" black anodized Chassis 6061-T6 aluminum handle with black finished pocket clip, glass breaker and stainless steel hardware. The Ultratech OTF automatic features a double edge black dagger. The OTF knife fires via a double action thumb slide on the side of the handle for automatic deployment and retraction with the push of the slide.

My First real Microtech
Ok the quality is literally 100 times better than benchmade... i own the 3300bk, 3400bk, and the shootout. all three of those knives needed maintained as soon as i received it... this microtech is good to go right out of the box The Thinness is pretty nice and the grind is so smooth. Thanks EK

Meh...
I love microtech but...... Don't get me wrong I really do like microtech but they are definitely not what they used to be. There are also many other OTFs that offer more For less. I absolutely love the body of the ultratech 2 step side. But within me firing it the 1st 50 times it probably failed to come out 4 times and failed to go back in at least 10 times. That's absolutely ridiculous for the price you pay. For that price you should be able to fire it back-and-forth at least 500 times before you get any kind of malfunction. Their older models used to be very rock solid and I'm sure they are still very rock solid but something has happened between then and now.. Like I said don't get me wrong I do like microtech but man stay step your game up.
