The best part about a Bayonet blade is it's sharpness on both sides, however your top edge is sharp 3/4 of the blade with a spot for your thumb to rest the other 1/4 of the way.

Ultra Tech Bayonet Apocalyptic
Insanely sharp, seriously... more than impressive. The action is solid. I have had a couple deployments over the past few days where the blade did not fully engage. If it continues I'll reach out to the EK team. I have looked at this for years and decided to pick it up and EK had a better price than I could find elsewhere. The knife oozes 'cool', although I wont be showing this off to anyone. I really like the bayonet style because the top of the blade is 3/4 sharpened. I will be adding additional microtech to my collection and will definitely do more business with EKnives. A hand written 'thank you' letter inside the deliver box??? All class here guys (and gals), that little note shows what this family is all about. Delivery was quick and I didn't upgrade for expedited delivery.
