The Microtech Ultratech is the first ever OTF (out the front) automatic knife produced by Microtech Knives. Since 1999 there have been over 50,000 models in circulation making it an industry leader. It features a 3.4" Tanto blade with MT's apocalyptic stonewash finish and standard edge. The Ultratech features a 5" black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle with bead blast finished pocket clip, glass breaker and stainless steel hardware. The Ultratech's spring remains at rest in both the open and closed position to help relieve fatigue on the spring compression allowing for longevity and durability.

    Great craftsmanship but my son had problems getting used to opening the knife. He had to use some oil to loosen the spring. ( He watched one of your videos.)

    Killer knife, quality is up and down. EDC for a couple months now. If it starts slowing down just follow maintenance instructions, mines faster than from factory now. I lightly hone with a WorkSharp ceramic rod every few days, things always razor sharp. It's a damned adulted fidget device if I'm being honest...
