The Microtech Ultratech is the first ever OTF (out the front) automatic knife produced by Microtech Knives. Since 1999 there have been over 50,000 models in circulation making it an industry leader. It features a 3.4" Tanto blade with stonewash finish . The Ultratech features a 5" black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle with bead blast finished pocket clip, glass breaker and stainless steel hardware. The Ultratech's spring remains at rest in both the open and closed position to help relieve fatigue on the spring compression allowing for longevity and durability.

Good knife not as strong as I...
I paid several hundred dollars for a knife that I thought would last 5 years. It is an OTF knife it opens but every time I have to pull the blade out to lock. It is the same as a folding knife.

Great finish, very sharp, button a bit...
Overall this knife is very nice looking, well finished and the blade is very sharp. But the action switch feels a bit wobbly. Not like it's going to come out but a bit looser than I expected.

Smooth, sharp, easy to use, safe, reasonable, etc. I do wish that it came with something to loosen/tighten the special screws on it - they are not standard screws
