As the pioneer of Microtech’s folding knife line, the U.D.T. (Underwater Demolition Team) has evolved to be an exceptional combination of form and function. The first prototype models featured rubber Kraton inlays and were available in small, medium and large sizes. These models were later consolidated to a single size, featuring a grooved, contoured aluminum handle with jibbing along the top of the handle, that carries onto the spine of the blade. The L.U.D.T. boasts an explosive deployment mechanism, not commonly found in a knife of this size.

So Nice, Had to Buy it...

Posted by Michael Stevenson on Oct 20th 2023

This is my 2nd LUDT. This version fixes my biggest complaint with my previous one, the propitiatory screws. I love how the handle thins as you move away from the blade and how thin it is behind the edge.

    My first purchase with EKnives??

Posted by Michael Delgado on Jul 12th 2023

I recently bought a Microtech LUDT Automatic Folding Knife Black 3.4" Stonewash Apocalyptic and was not my first microtech, so I knew the craftsmanship I was getting but the main reason for this review is EKnives they were very friendly and professional I received my order on time and it was packaged really well also not mention the quality of knives they offer and consistently having a great selection
