Lean, light, and strong. The Narrows is Benchmade's thinnest profile folding knife ever. It is 33% thinner than the bugout and weighs a whopping 2.4 ounces. These are the basic parameters Benchmade set for the new 748 Narrows...but there’s nothing basic about this future-forward folder. Coming in at 0.28 inches thick (or thin), the titanium handle of the Narrows is the slimmest full-size frame Benchmade has ever built, making it the most pocketable, space-saving large knife in the lineup.Accordingly, they also introduced a new take on the AXIS lock, eliminating steel liners and omega springs and subbing in a sleek new lock stud and torsion spring assembly. With the benefit of a thin M390 drop-point blade and a murdered out DLC Black finish, this stylish EDC takes ultralight utility to the extreme.

Benchmade Narrows...
When I first opened the box for my Narrows, I was worried that the knife would not hold up under intense use, I was wrong. The blade kept easily cutting through rope, apples and other things that would normally be cut up by a knife. The design is simple yet elegant. I am 100% satisfied with my Benchmade Narrows DLC, and it would be great if down the road I could add a little color to it, by changing the hardware.
