The Tactical Response 3 from ProTech Knives is one of their most popular models for Military and Law Enforcement professionals. The TR-3 has a multi use blade that measures 3.5" and is made from high quality 154-CM steel. The 4.5" handle is made from black anodized, milled 6061 T6 aluminum for excellent look and texture. Well...
The TR3 is my second protech behind the godson and I can honestly say is the fastest auto and the toughest. Knife came razor sharp and no blade play what so ever. I would highly recommend Protech as they make the best auto knifes you can buy.

I have this knife but in a CPM-S45VN blade version. The size is just about right for me, long enough for doing just about everything along with easy carry, yet short enough to maneuver quickly if needed. The handle feel, the nice snap open, the quality, and name brand, gives the feeling of confidence it's built to last and do its intended job. For not being a fixed blade, this knife is the fastest I can pull from my pocket and open. Faster than any manual or OTF.

Nice but...
What I like...fires hard, locks up tight. What needs improvement....sharpness is so-so, fixed now. Firing button is somewhat gritty. I have other ProTechs and they're very smooth. Clip is huge and way too stiff. It also discolored after only the 2nd day of use and has since been replaced with an aftermarket deep carry. Not really the top notch quality I expect from ProTech.

Great all around knife
I wanted to change things up from the Ludt because I wasn’t 100% sold on the blade quality and this Protech did the trick. I am really enjoying this knife for every day use in tough working conditions!
