A New for 2024 Innovation by Reate called the Pivot Lock folder. A Button lock that is nicely situated on the pivot which is a first in the industry.
The handle comes in a variety of G10 and Micarta flavors and features a Nitro V blade that is able to withstand anything you throw at it. With a budget friendly price tag, this PL-XT is going to be another homerun for Reate Knives.

Just...
Let me say that this is a very attractive knife. However the detent is very stiff and the button lock sticks very often. Not a knife I’ll carry due to all of its issues.

This is my first Reate knife, and I have to say that I’m impressed. The colors really pop and the build quality is great. It fits well in the hand and is very easy to open and close one handed. The finish is great and it came very sharp. This has quickly become a favorite, and is definitely in the edc rotation… it is punching well above its weight class at the price. I would recommend it to anyone.
