This is a specialty folding knife for the serious person. This is a folding knife that both Jack and Mike believe is worthy of being called a personal protection knife.

Yes the frame lock is on the left side of the folder, that is not for lefties but so you can manage the knife better when you transition to your left hand. Also works for lefties but for you right handed folks, try it, it makes way more sense.
