The Autonomy 2 took full advantage of the patented design features of the original Autonomy and molded them into a format optimized for everyday utility. Now this best-in-class automatic knife is available in a stealthy all-black configuration with a choice of edge styles.
The ultra-corrosion-resistant LC200N blade is cloaked in a black Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating. The handle liners, clip, and all other hardware follow suit with their own non-reflective black coatings. Ideal for tactical environments where light discipline is a concern, the all-black Autonomy 2 is also a stunning aesthetic expression of one of Spyderco's most dynamic models.

The Juggernaut of Folders!
I had my first Autonomy stolen (because I didn't even technically enter their country) by Singaporen customs (still a sore spot because I didn't even want to go through Singapore but my flight got cancelled anyways some jerk there has my first one) so I loved this knife so much I had to get another to replace it and I don't usually spend this much on knives but the Autonomous is worth it! It's rust resistant with Spyderco's awesome LCN2000 steel. I legit carry my Salt knives into the ocean with me when I swim in the Atlantic in SC and have yet to get any corrosion on them. Now the action on these is hard and strong (haha jokes...??) but it does have an awesome action! And it's just a beefy tank of a knife good for if you need to wear gloves it's got that nice big button that makes opening a cinch! If you're looking for a literal tank of a knife that you don't have to baby this is it and it's made in the US Spyderco what more could you want? But for real if you're still looking for a reason not to you won't find it, unless you're looking for a weak dainty knife then this isn't for you. I legit kinda wanna get another one as a backup knife because 2 is 1 right, this is a knife you pass down generations you know.

Lots of...
The G-10 handle feels amazing on this knife. I bought it for cold weather use with cold or gloved hands. The actuation button is massive and I have no doubts I'll be able to find it. It's a big knife with strong spring tension, so closing with one hand is a bit of a chore, but doable. The quality is impressive and the grind is flawless. A great addition to my collection.

Excellent Design and Quality
I can find little wrong with this substantial knife. The blade is perfectly centered when folded, and as rigid as my Pro-Tech folder when open (which it does with authority). The safety slider is nice, but I probably won't use it often as I can't imagine a situation where I would accidentally release the blade. The only negative thing I've noticed about this knife is a slight irregularity in the grind near the tip on the back side of the blade. I didn't see it without a very close examination. It won't affect performance, and certainly doesn't take away from my five-star rating.
