The original Lil’ Native was created to provide the same proven functionality and reliability as Spyderco's iconic Native model in an ultra-compact package with a legally friendly 2.42-inch blade. Continuing that evolution, Spyderco is proud to offer the Lil’ Native Lightweight. This remarkable folding knife takes the Lil’ Native Back Lock platform and lightens it by 40 percent with fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle scales. The injection-molded scales add the enhanced grip security of a Bi-Directional Texture pattern and are home to a reversible deep-pocket wire clip that provides discreet left or right-side tip-up carry. The business end of the knife is a full-flat-ground CTS BD1N stainless steel blade with a fully accessible Trademark Round Hole for easy one-handed opening with either hand. This ultra-lightweight cutting tool is available with a tumbled blade finish and brightly finished hardware or in an all-black configuration featuring a Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) blade coating and matching black-coated lock bar, clip, and hardware. Both finish options also offer a choice of either a PlainEdge or fully serrated SpyderEdge blade.
