The full-flat-ground blade capitalizes on the properties of this American-made steel to deliver an outstanding balance of toughness, edge retention, and corrosion resistance. It is housed in a linerless fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle injection molded in a cobalt blue color that is a signature of our distinctive SPY27 family of knives. The handle includes a high-traction Bi-Directional Texture pattern, a stout back lock mechanism, and a four-position clip that is easily configurable for left or right-side, tip-up or tip-down carry.

Blade to weight ratio is insane!
This big blade just disappears in the pocket. Feather light and unexpectedly slim in the pocket. It pockets better than most Spyderco knives, especially if you buy a Lynch / MXG long deep carry clip. Weighs about the same as a Para 3 LW, but has a @4" blade with lots of cutting edge This one will grow on you and will be a joy to carry. just don't pull it out in the office...... it will scare folks!
