The Krake Raken Trainer is built on the same handle platform as our best selling live blade—the Krake Raken. In this updated version, we implemented suggestions that we received from all of you in the community.The V3 features a new trainer blade and improvements to the grip including deeper milling to the texture and larger jimpings.
The Inked Series Krake Raken Trainer V3 features a DLC coated blade. DLC, or Diamond-Like Carbon, is an extremely hard coating used to reduce friction, wear, fretting, galling, and corrosion. Not only is it incredibly tough, it's also incredibly thin and comes in at under 2 microns in thickness.
