Kingpin-Ranger Green

The Kingpin was designed after Toor was approached by a group of Marine Snipers who were looking for a low-profile blade that could be placed on the front of their gear, but would allow them to remain comfortable for a long period of time while lying in the prone position.

A lightweight duty knife for those looking for a practical edged solution to add to their gear, the Kingpin has a skeletonized grip with a cross weave paracord wrap, which is under 3/8” thick.

By removing the handle scales, along with the material in the center of the handle, Toor was able to bring the overall weight of the blade down to a whopping 2.9oz! This extremely light, streamlined knife is finished with a tanto tip and razor-sharp straight edges, all coated with corrosion resistant KG Gunkote.

Every Kingpin is Made in the USA and includes a FlexTech KYDEX® sheath for easy retention adjustability, as well as multiple friction offsets to eliminate blade rattle.

The paracord wrap will ship with approximately 7.5” of additional lanyard, giving you the option to add a bead and/or cut it to your desired length.

    Broke it pretty quickly

Mine broke while trying to split a small log. I wouldn’t say I was being rough with it, especially since it should be 3V. The jimping is such that the spine side of the skeletonized handle is very thin (though this isn’t visible with the paracord in place). It should be pretty easy for Toor to adjust the design, if they haven’t already. I’m glad I wasn’t actually depending on this blade when it happened.
