This updated version of Toor's original MarlinSpike features two additional finger grooves at the top, for added grip, as well as a hole for a lanyard or FOB to be attached, providing the opportunity for faster access, as well as personalization.

Constructed from universally tough 4140 steel, this versatile tool is designed to be impact and fracture resistant from repeated stress. The finger grooves at the top and bottom of the spike ensure a non-slip grip when operating in slick conditions and we topped it off with a corrosion resistant KG GunKote finish.
Every Marlinspike 2.0 is Made in the USA and includes a black Tru-Hide Kydex sheath sealed with 4 black eyelets in Toor's standard universal hole pattern, which is compatible with all of their mounts.

The Marlinspike was great and all but did have one small flaw. The tip, maybe a mm was bent a just enough to notice so I sharpened it down

As a european, it's getting harder to get things overall from the US. Eknives had my order on my doorstep on the other side of the world within a week. And it's a great tool as well, literally fixing frozen knots above the polar circle, and as I discovered also works in a punch to split firewood. Worth every cent, for the tool and the service.
