Following the exact profile of its predecessor, the Merchant 2.0 has been updated with slimmer handles for less weight, domed hardware, and a deep carry pocket clip. This blade was originally designed as the ultimate everyday carry pocket workhorse. This version of the Merchant folder has a standard, curved blade shape that allows for smooth cutting and is made entirely in the USA at Toor Knives, in San Diego, CA.

With an extra-high bevel grind that provides plenty of sharpening life, this frame lock folding knife uses premium 6al-4v titanium, precision-machined handle scales with a CPM S35VN blade. Toor custom-makes every screw and back spacer in-house at their manufacturing facility, also using 6al-4v titanium. The blade rides on phosphor bronze washers, giving it a smooth, controlled folding action, and their signature deep carry titanium pocket clips allow the knife to sit lower in the pocket for extra comfort when carrying.

The Merchant 2.0 S comes in a Black KG Gunkote handle with Stone blade, or a Bronze anodized handle with Black Oxide blade.

    Disappointed

Posted by Dan S. on Nov 3rd 2023

The blade was way off centered and if I tightened the pivot anymore I couldn't even open the knife. Also the pivot is non-captive and would tighten or loosen as I opened and closed the knife. I'm sure I could spend some time with it and get it where it should be but I shouldn't have to. It is a good looking knife and feels great in the hand which is the only reason why I'm going to keep it and work on it. This is my first knife from Toor and it's a terrible first impression.

This is about the smoothies folder I have ever had the pleasure of putting in my pocket. Fit and finish are spot on, it's razor sharp and feels good in hand.
