The Mako folder is a Doug Marcaida, Bastien Coves design and a folding version of the super popular Mako fixed blade. This tactical folder is impressive and artistic but extremely lethal if used correctly. The karambit design is tactical art at its finest with a razor sharp N690 blade. Designed with a "Wave", this piece gives you the ability to draw and open the blade in 1 quick motion, straight from your pocket.
We have seen this knife in action at many shows and the designer, Bastien Coves, can show its utilitarian functionality and quickness like no other.

The Mako folder is now my favorite edc tool

This karambit is an awesome edged weapon that when deployed correctly is very fast and smooth. A word of caution if you are not familiar with these type weapons, when the Mako is in the clipped position in the pocket be careful about sliding your hand in your pocket because if your not careful you will get bit and can cause a deep cut. This karambit is deadly sharp.

    Very sharp, very smooth...

The Mako folder is now my favorite edc tool. When used correctly this edged weapon will deploy quickly and smoothly. But a word of caution, if your not familiar with these type of tools, be careful putting your hands in your pocket when the Mako is in the clipped position. It will cut and it is very very sharp. Love this knife.

    A Nice...

The look and feel of this piece is definitely 5 star. Mine has an annoying rattle when the blade is opened. I believe it is the ball bearing in the locking mechanism. It’s not a big deal but it annoys me. This was my reason for an overall 4 star but I think this is worth the money and good value.
