Overall good...
I have wanted this knife for awhile. I finally bought it, but I have mixed feelings, but overall I am happy to have gotten it. First, it's not sharp at all, very disappointed to pay $550 and I now have to find someone to sharpen it. Positive note, it's much easier to deploy the knife than my previous OTF I bought from here. It's well made, sturdy, I'd given 5 stars if it had been sharp but oh well.

Factory...
Love the look and feel of the knife Great shipping and delivery from the team at EKnives especially the bandage included in the box! My particular knife was incorrectly ground and sharpened on one side of the blade with two chips at the base of the blade. That said benchmade is currently performing warranty service on my blade. Hopefully i will get it back soon.

Solid knife....but dull as a marble on one side.
I have wanted one of these for a LONG time. Finally snagged one, and I'm loving everything about it...except for the lack of attention to both sides of the dagger blade. One side is sharp as a razor. The other side might as well be a marble. Nothing some home-DIY work can't fix...but for $500, I would think a knife blade would be even somewhat sharp, from the manufacturer. EK service, though, is always exceptional. Quick to process orders, and quick to ship!

My product was unopened from the manufacturer. They added a band aid. Nice touch. I have made 1 purchase. I usually purchase what I want and that comes with a price tag. I knew the product well and price was inline and they had it. So I look beyond the product and decide if I will pay for the service offered. The manufacturer will stand behind my product. I will be back for future purchases when the product I desire is on their shelf.

Better Than Original...
This generation 3300 has a finer operation, fit, and finish than the original I purchased in the mid 00's. I also like the blacked out blade which gives it a whole new look which was not available in the original offering. A++ Knife
