New 2014 Brous Blades Strife Dustin Turpin Carbon Fiber Flipper Knife

Jason Brous has done it again and knocked it out of the park with his new Brous Blades Strife designed by Dustin Turpin and modeled after his custom Strife creation. The newest installment of the Brous Blades lineup for 2014, the Strife is all kinds of cool. The first thing you notice is the blade cutout on the spine of the blade allowing for thumb leverage.

Per ususal, the Strife blade rolls out via Brous Blades proprietary ball bearing system which is one of the smoothest on the market. Each one of Jason's flippers get smoother and have better detent than the previous models.

Handle

The Brous Blades Strife knife comes with 3D milled carbon fiber scales which is very high quality to make it look like a Dustin Turpin custom. over titanium liners that are skeletonized making it very lightweight (5 ounces). The twill weave carbon fiber scales have double milled grooves along the first third of the handle. The titanium backspacer is nestled between two layers of G-10.

The handle measures 5" in length and features a Brous Blades deep carry pocket clip and lanyard loop.

Blade

The Brous Turpin Strife flipper blade is a unique yet refined piece of D2 steel. At 3.5" in length, the Strife has a blade that comes in the standard Brous Blades finishes which include satin, stonewash, blackout and acid stonewash.

The compound ground D2 blade features a cutout on the top for excellent forward grip leverage. The forward finger choil makes holding this knife a pleasure and allows for excellent grip being able to choke up if needed. The centering is near perfect and the finish is very high quality on the blade.

The overall quality, fit and finish on the Brous Blades Strife is as close to custom as you can get without being a custom Turpin Strife. Jason did a killer job on it and with only 500 in rotation, if you want a wicked flipper with a high quality look you better act fast.
