The 100% American made HTM Greg Lightfoot Bullwhip is a robust spring assisted tactical folder from Hand Tech Made (HTM) and knife maker Greg Lightfoot who modeled this after his custom Bullwhip. As with any HTM knife, solid and robust is the name of the game but the Lightfoot Bullwhip is different, it weighs a mere 6 ounces it is relatively light making it a perfect tactical folder for EDC use.
The Blade
The designer, Greg Lightfoot is a Canadian Jack-of-all-trades and master of most to be quite honest. The award winning knife maker and HTM specialist created this tactical folding knife with some gusto. The 3.5" CPM-154 CM stainless steel blade with a recurve edge that comes in a variety of finishes that include a black DLC coated and non-glare satin finish. Blade sharpness is extraordinary as is the case with all HTM knives.
The Handle
The word robust comes to mind with most HTM knife handles and the Lightfoot Bullwhip is no different. The 4 3/4" handle has a "fish scale" type texture derived from a hard anodized Military grade type III aluminum making it very easy to handle in the most serious of conditions. Bottom line, you are not losing your grip on this folder. A reversible pocket clip is mounted to the back of the handle for easy carry anywhere.

Assisted Opener
The Darrel Ralph designed Maxx Glide Pivot Bearing System is an internal mechanism that allows for super smooth opening with little effort via a flipper opener. Blade lockup on the HTM Lightfoot Bullwhip is "very solid" utilizing a .09" thick titanium locking liner.
A zippered pouch nylon pouch with the HTM logo comes with the HTM Bullwhip knife.
