Knife designer Liong Mah is at it again with his titanium flipper called the "Remedy", a production folder by David Deng of REATE Knives. REATE is known for high quality and this model is no different. Mah is meticulous and is very picky about who he lets build his knives. David Deng, CEO of REATE (out of China) has quite the reputation already and is garnering a lot of attention as of late.
As soon as I put my hands on it I couldn't put it down. It flips beautifully and every model I have flips identical. There is no separation between one model or another which is rare for a production flipper. Even ZT knives can't say that.
The Liong Mah Remedy knife comes with a 3.75" modified drop point blade made from S35VN stainless steel and a beautiful stonewash finish. The blade has jimping on the spine and a flipper tab integrated for fast one handed deployment. The blade rolls out very smooth via bearing system and the detent is magnificent. The blade locks up rock solid courtesy of a steel lock bar insert.
The titanium frame lock handle measures 4.6" in length and has a stonewash finish and very clean lines. A very simple clean milled titanium pocket clip allows for tip up carry and rides deep in the pocket. At just 5.3 ounces it feels great and is perfect for EDC use. The ergonomics of this handle and the curves show you exactly how much time Mah put into this great looking flipper knife. Custom zippered pouch with Liong Mah logo embroidered is included.
