Tony Marfione and the Microtech Knives team are no stranger to collaborations with top Knife makers in the industry. So it should come as no surprise that custom Knife Maker Sebastijan Berenji (Borka Blades) brings his persian profile fixed blade creation to Microtech called the SBK.
The Borka Blades SBK was previously only a custom offering but now with the addition of Sebastijan as a staple to the Microtech team, the SBK is now available to the masses in a much more affordable option. The Microtech SBK was introduced to the public this year at the 2016 Blade Show in Atlanta and they sold like hotcakes.
The 5" Persion blade is made from high quality Bohler M390 steel. Sebastijan previously used D2 in much of the custom models. The blade finish is Microtech's own Apocalyptic stonewash but other finishes may be coming.
The full tang design with finger guard and jimping on the thumb ramp allow for provide you superp and ergonomics on this tactical fixed blade.
The G-10 scales are milled and contoured to feel superior in the hand. The ergonomics of the SBK make it feel as good as it looks in the hand, giving you tool you desire. Comes with a custom molded Tek-Lok Kydex sheath allows for vertical or horizontal carry and has a carbon fiber look on the exterior, a great styling bonus.
