2015 Protech Tactical Response Automatic Knives For Sale

The Protech TR-4 Tactical Response Automatic Knife is a Military and Emergency Response team favorite. The TR-4 features a aggressive sabre grind blade that comes in a black DLC or stonewash/satin finish. Limited Edition models also come in a bead blast finish (see TR4.59) and standard or combo blades.

The Protech Tactical Response 4 handle is where it all takes place. The 5.25" T6 6061 anodized aluminum handle features a recessed push button automatic that fires with a vengeance. The handle width is 1.34" and .5" thick. On the butt of the handle is very solid CNC machined lanyard plate with integrated glass breaker (skull crusher). At just over 5 ounces, the Protech TR-4 is a solid yet light tactical automatic that is perfect for any tactical or emergency situation. The TR-4 series comes with a stiff stainless pocket clip and a 2 ounce carry sheath.

TR 4.59 & 4.63 Limited Edition Shaw Skull

The  Tactical Response 4 Limited Edition Series features Bruce Shaw sterling silver skull inlays, which is a serial numbered knife out of 300 produced. 

The sterling silver inlay skull is recessed flush in the handle so it does not get in your way. I will say that as soon as my motorcycle buddies saw this they were enamored, so it gets plenty of attention when pulled out of the pocket. I did not use this knife for emergency response situations but did EDC it for a couple of weeks. Note: The skull does not get in the way of handling this knife. 

Protech TR (tactical response) series is all about quality and durability. The first thing I noticed about this auto is how hard it fired which really is nothing new with Protech autos. It fires with authority and the stonewashed blade is a nice addition as well. The blades come in bead blasted, stonewashed (pictured above) and damascus steel if you wanna spend the big bucks. The Pro-Tech TR-4 handles are made from the highest quality aircraft 6061 T6 aluminum and Bruce Shaw designed the skull inlay seen below. The blade is a drop point 154CM stainless steel that can take some every day punishment. While it is lightweight (5.5 ounces) it is very solid in the hand. The gray aluminum is my preference but the black looks good as well.

The handles come with two tone glass breakers for emergency situations. The slide safety ensures there are no mishaps when handling and is in my opinion a very welcomed addition to the auto! The pocket clip is very stiff and the digi-camo custom skull lanyard is a very cool add on. I am a huge fan of longer lanyards, it allows the knife to sit deep in the pocket but I am able to get the knife out quickly when needed.
