    I have several double action otfs from all of the usual suspects (Microtech, Heretic, and Vespa; and before you start railing about never buying Chinese junk) I can tell you without any reservation that the Deadlock is in an entirely different category from any other otf I’ve ever handled and (did I forget to mention the Sandshark?) There is just no comparison and if you’re lucky enough to ever get one it will speak for itself and you will see the genius of Gavin Hawk His mechanism is so unique that it’s not really even fair to compare his with the others
