One of Medford Knife and Tools newest creations, this knife pays homage to the M-48 Patton main battle tank and its four-man crew.  "30 mph was never so exhilarating".

A hybrid flipper on bearings with an Aluminum handle, Titanium spring and their newly introduced OTL and a reversible clip.  At almost 9” fully deployed you have a very useful blade and with its hybrid construction, EDC friendly.  With the new, innovative Magnus Edged tip, you have a hand-ground blade unlike any other.  Lastly, you will have fun finding the  “Easter Eggs” on the blade and clip.

    well-built...

Posted by christopher sawfer on Aug 18th 2022

I like to read history, and Gen. Patton is someone I liked reading about when I was younger. Knives are my thing, so when I found this one, I had to check it out. At first, I didn't like it because it is really not that sharp. I like my more expensive knives to be scary sharp. I probably won't gut too many deer with my fancier knives but nonetheless, when I get them out of my hidey-hole, I like them to be really f-in sharp. So, after handling the M48 for a day, I decided to keep it because it is possibly the most well-built knife I have ever owned. The magnus tip is really cool too. Plus, it feels better in my hand than any other knife with a pocket clip. I really don't like pocket clips.
