Microtech knocked this thing out of the park. Fit, finish, action, and price point. The action is so much smoother and easier to actuate than my other CT or Ultratech, but not so much that I’m worried about it opening in my pocket. The new pocket clip and handle surface milling are excellent too, and I think it is way better looking than the previous model. They even added little details and improvements like holes near the glass breaker, making it easier to oil the knife without disassembly (which is also easier now with the torx fasteners). Microtech clearly listened to the customer and implemented improvements accordingly. The D/E is the only downside in my opinion, but it was my fault for being too impatient to wait for a drop point version to come out. Amazing quality blade, just slightly less practical for EDC. Again though, that’s on me. But it still looks awesome and excels at piercing. Eknives was a pleasure as always, shipped mega fast and included some other goodies.
