The Microtech Combat Troodon OTF (out the front) is named after the Troodon dinosaur and is the larger version of the Troodon OTF knife which debuted in 2006. The Combat Troodon is one of MT's largest OTF double action production knives available with an overall length of 9.5 inches. The Combat Troodon features a 3.8" stainless steel double edge dagger style blade with stonewash finish. The 5.75" handle is black anodized aluminum and features a bead blast finish hardware, glass breaker and pocket clip. Yes this is a larger OTF knife but it feels great in the hand thanks to the jimping in the handle.

Microtech Combat Troodon.
This is the state of the art for OTF knives. Its a model I'm glad to have and fun to fire and retract the blade. I had an Ultratech prior to this and the larger scale of the Combat Troodon amplifies all of what's good with the Ultratech. Get it from Eknives.

Microtech combat troodon otf review
Great knife super sharp. Very sturdy and reliable. The Stonewash looks great on it. Only problem I had was that it was a bit hard to open but checked the site and read some helpful tips. Applied some rem oil and used compressed air to it and it was easy to open and close. I was very satisfied with this site and I plan on buying more from here.

Combat Troodon OTD
This thing is awesome. It is more than I expected and the quality is superb! Takes a little thumb exercising to get used to it but once you get it down, it is the best blade around IMHO... Certainly the best one I own. Eknives was great to deal with and I will be shopping with them again...

This is probably the most solid automatics on the market and definitely superb quality. The blade deploys hard and feels confident in the hand. I had a friend tell me he would worry about the blade deploying accidentally. Not the case and keep other items out of this pocket. The sliding mechanism requires deliberate force to deploy the blade. Love this Combat Troodon!

I gotta say I though carrying a knife this big was going to be impractical.. boy was i wrong feels great in the hand, fires really hard. Solid knife

This one goes in my casket one day
We pursue perfection but have to settle for excellence because there is only one who is perfect. This knife comes as close as you can get to perfection. For a moment there I thought I achieved nirvana and maybe I did until I realized there are others to pursue. Since life is the pursuit of happiness I look forward to my next knife purchase.
