Can’t stop playing with...
As if I had enough trouble fiddling around with my ultratech, I buy the cypher II and discover they added a clit to the pocket clip. I’ll never be able to put this thing down now ;)

Love the knife so much, I bought 3 of em!!
Own many Microtech knives, this is easily my new favorite.... The other 30 or so, are gonna get really jealous, when they sulk in the dark closet and these new Cypher's are in my pocket every day.!

Great knife!
I have arthritis in my thumb joints and had trouble actuating my 2015 Troodon OTF. I traded it off and bought the Cypher II. It is much easier to actuate and I recommend it.

New favorite knife!
I love this knife. The action on the redesigned “drivetrain” is so smooth and much easier to fire. Also, i can not say enough good about the customer service. These people want and appreciate your business. If you haven’t bought from them, please do so. Great people to deal with!

This is the perfect "Everyday Carry"...
Before I picked out this cutie, I was carrying the Gen 2 Combat Troodon. The CT is arguably my favorite style of the Microtech Family, so it's baby sister had a lot to live up to. The Cypher 2 does not disappoint. With an easier button launcher, a sleeker screwless design, and a smaller, less obtrusive glass breaker, I couldn't be more pleased. The blade design is perfect for every day use and excells at normal to moderately heavy tasks. It doesn't feel bulky in the pocket, the ball bearing clip is miles above the previous generation's clip, and it's about $200 less than what my Gen 2 CT was. I love it. It's my go to now for everything. Highly recommend!

Eknives = Awesome! Cypher 2= Good Overall.
So let me start with this...Eknives is the best! I mean literally, it's the little things that make the purchase experience excellent, and they nail it every. single. time! They actually care, are friendly, know a ton about their products, and they have the frenchies (Go visit the shop :). Now for the Cypher 2: Overall I like it. I have the Gen 3 CT (bought that from eknives too), and I like it and its improvements. Now the Cypher 2 is good, and great for EDC, my only criticism is the blade stock seems to be a bit thin and shorter. Does it do the job? Yes. Is it that big of a deal? Not for me. I wish they had stuck with the same blade as the previous gen and size as well. In the video by MT on YouTube, it looks larger than it is, but that's because it's in small hands. Anyway, I'm happy with it overall, and it does it's job. Not too big for EDC, the new chassis is AWESOME, and it feels good in hand. On another note, the new pocket clip and glass breaker are STELLAR! I'd buy a scarab if it had the same glass breaker, but alas, it hasn't been changed. I'm excited about the Atreaus as well.
